1. Who are the teachers, how are they selected?
Our teachers are all rigorously selected through a private interview, during the
course of which their teaching and social skills are evaluated. They must have at
least the level required by the Board of .Education (Education Nationale), or more
(some are still acting teachers). For the most part, we recruit through IUFMs, business
schools, universities, as well as through organizations specialized in teachers'
recruitment.
To find out more, please visit the "Who are The Teachers?" section on www.qualicours.com.
2. What can be done if the teacher does not suit either my child,
or myself?
In order to succeed, a good relationship between teacher and student is essential.
In such a situation, we will thus offer you a new teacher as quickly as possible.
3. How long must we wait for our first meeting with a teacher?
Following our first telephone conversation, we will assign you a teacher within
48 hours and a week, at the very latest.
4. How much do your private classes cost, how does thetax reduction
work, am I eligible for this tax reduction?
Class fees vary based on the school grade and the student's residence location.
You will find classes starting at only 11 € per hour, post-tax reduction. Based
on the law for the employment of workers at home, you may get a 50% reduction on
the hourly class fee and on the enrollment fee, based on the conditions presented
in the article 199 sexdéciès of the CGI. There are no administrative
formalities for you to perform; Qualicours will send you a tax certificate to be
added to your income tax return.
You may only benefit from this 50% tax reduction if your income is taxable.
The expense limit of the services provided within the home' article
(titre de services à domicile)is 12 000 €, which corresponds
to a 6000 € reduction.
You must state the total amount of hours paid (enrollment fees + number of class
hours taken within the year corresponding to your income tax return, all this in
one single box on the tax form (DF).
5. How are the class hours and frequency determined?
Classes are organized according to your availability. However, we highly advise
that you respect the class pace recommended by your educational counselor, in order
to fully optimize your child's chances at success.
6. What do the enrollment fees include, how long are they valid
for?
The 65 € TTC enrollment fee is valid for two schoolyears for all individuals
living in the person enrolled's household. Qualicours enrollment includes: enrollment
& school fees, the mandate, administrative and social management, the search
for requested teachers, the option to change teachers and classes throughout the
schoolyear, the enrollment of a new family member, the personal educational follow-up
for each student taking Qualicours classes, and access to lesson summaries, homework,
and exercizes corrected online through our website www.qualicours.com.
7. Do you offer various payment plans/ installments?
Everything is done to make your life easier! You can pay by check, "chèque
emploi service universel", or automatic debits from your bank account. We offer
special deadlines for payments (with the possibility to pay in two to three installments,
depending on the importance of the formula you've selected).
8. What are the "titres emplois services (TES)"and the
"chèque emploi service universel (CESU)", How do they work, What
benefits do they offer and how can we get them?
With the TES (in use till the 31/03/06) and the CESU, you pay for classes at a reduced
cost! In the context of their social activities, company committees (or the companies
themselves, when they don't have one), social actions committees, retirement funds
agencies, mutual companies, and community groups, often give financial aid for the
payment of services offered and taking place within the home. This aid materializes
by the issurance of "TES or CESU" documents from the following four structures:
meal checks (chèque déjeuner), housing checks (chèque logis
service), social tickets (ticket social), and residence checks (chèque domicile).
The employee is supposed to choose one provider based on the list given by the company
committee. Beware: as opposed to the "chèques emploi service",
money received by the "TES/ CESU" or through financial aid given by your
company's social actions committee is considered to be taxable income, and not deductible.
